What you become a part of

Reporting into the Procurement Supply Chain Indirect Category Lead, the position takes ownership of a key category, subcategory for Europe to develop and execute category strategies. The main objectives are to optimise procurement costs and processes as well as to ensure quality and security of supply for all materials and services purchased in the category, as well as achieving CCEP´s EV100 strategy.
Fleet, MHE and Trucks which includes car and van fleet, fuel cards, forklift trucks and manual handling equipment and local delivery trucks, using the Total Cost of Ownership approach.

Furthermore, this position is responsible to drive CRS developments and improvements through the supply base, supporting CCEP goals, and to identify and deliver category projects to drive cost and CRS benefits.

What to expect

Your primary responsibilities;

 Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Quality & Customer Service

  • Take a leading role in understanding business requirements, supplier negotiation strategy development and negotiation execution
  • Coordinate local and BU implementations of all central procurement initiatives and ensure procurement initiatives are executed using the 7-Step Strategic Sourcing Process and methodology, carry out RFIs / RFPs, run negotiations and manage contracts
  • Deliver supply agreements in accordance with strategy objectives to ensure delivery of optimum business results
  • Drive supply optimization and harmonization initiatives
  • Drive CRS developments and improvements through the supply base, supporting CCEP goals, and to identify and deliver category projects to drive cost and CRS benefits.
  • Deliver risk management strategies to mitigate the impact of volatile supply markets

Capability & Productivity

  • Support the development and implementation of annual strategic, operating and budgeting plans, which will deliver the core procurement objectives for CCEP on quality, security of supply and cost.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business plans and how category strategy requirements align to the CCEP strategy through senior stakeholder management as the interface between local requirements and centralized category management (“one procurement face to the BU”)
  • Lead sourcing managers in our 7SSP (7-Step Sourcing Process), support their development and learning plan.


Financial

  • Deliver cost savings through negotiation and realization of cost reduction projects.
  • Drive total cost of ownership reductions and value beyond cost across the supply chain. Develop creative, value focused sourcing strategies and identify new sources of supply.
  • Meet or exceed procurement business plan assumptions


Innovation

  • Initiate necessary business decisions to generate operating and financial benefit.
  • Support creative, value focused sourcing strategies and identify new sources of supply


Sustainability

  • Improve Category CRS through our EV100 target and identifying further CRS pipeline opportunities
  • Ensure suppliers are approved and comply with TCCC Supplier Guiding Principles & Ecovadis



Supply Risk & Continuity

  • Support business plans for all relevant components & services and ensure their implementation in close coordination with other functions (i.e. Supply Chain) and the global Coca-Cola procurement organisation (CEPG).


Regulatory & Social Responsibility

  • Ensure transparent communication of procurement figures by use of established KPIs
  • Ensure the implementation and respect of CCEP policies and adherence to business standards.

What we expect of you:

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience of Procurement &/or Fleet management preferably in a FMCG environment coupled with a University degree or relevant professional qualification.

You will have proven customer orientation, personal development skills.

You will have strong capability for category management, with an organized and methodical approach. 

You will be a strategic thinker and have good communication skills with demonstrated experience of influencing at a senior level.

You will have experience in negotiating complex, high volume contracts and demonstrate the capacity to evaluate issues analytically and commercially.

Fluent English is essential and proficiency in other CCEP Languages (German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian) is an advantage.
